My name is Megan Esch and I am a sophomore film and media arts student at Temple University. I have always been passionate about environmental issues. I was raised by an outspoken mother who protested pipelines and a father who donated to the World Wildlife Fund in my name as a birthday present. As a developing filmmaker, I have been looking for ways to incorporate my activism into my work, so when I saw this opportunity through Temple Global Green, I was ecstatic to apply. Sustainability education and awareness are so important to me, so I’m happy to have been able to make this documentary, and I’m proud to share it with my Temple community.
