Hi, I'm Vriddhi! I'll be studying abroad in Oviedo, Spain during this summer before my last semester at Temple. I'm a researcher, essayist, and poet of South Indian descent based in the Philadelphia era focused on highlighting queer BIPOC narratives while exploring the depths of vulnerability and poetic chronicling. I've had work appear in Cosmonauts Avenue, Penn Review, Kweli Journal, Apiary Magazine, Entropy Magazine, and The Inklette. I serve as the poetry editor for Sonku Magazine and the artistic director for Babel Poetry Collective. I am so excited to explore what Spain has in store for BIPOC and understanding perhaps the unique historical relationship BIPOC have with freedom, adventure, and European history.

"During my time abroad, I hope to understand the fabric of norms of how BIPOC interact with travel and cultural exchange and perhaps provide a patch to add from myself."
