I'm Nyah Tinsley and I am studied abroad during the fall semester of my senior year in Heredia, Costa Rica. At Temple, I am majoring in global studies and the Spanish language and have learned a lot about Spanish-speaking cultures. My hope is to continue learning that while I am in Costa Rica and to improve my fluency in Spanish. Writing is a hobby of mine so I am excited to share with you my experiences abroad. Being a biracial African American, I also hope to offer insight on what it can be like being a minority in a different country and can't wait to share what I find out.

After graduation, I'm hoping to go into translation so I think it would be very beneficial to improve my skills to be able to translate more efficiently.
