Hi, my name is Ali! I am a rising junior at Swarthmore College, majoring in biology and classical studies. I am very excited to study abroad at Temple's campus in Rome this semester! Working with the Temple Global Green program, I hope to conduct an ecological restoration project and study the effects of climate change on marginalized communities in Rome. I am also interested in learning more about the vast history of Italy and exploring all the historical sites it has to offer.

While studying abroad in Rome, I hope to not only immerse myself in Italian culture but also learn about more ways in which I can help with climate change-related issues and environmental justice in a new country.
