My name is Ji Pan, and I am a rising 2nd year at Temple majoring in biology and minoring in public health. This summer, I will be studying abroad under the Global Good program in Prague, Czech Republic. As a first generation, low-income student from an immigrant background, I had never imagined studying abroad prior to my time at Temple. However, after involving myself in research and student activities throughout my first two semesters, I saw how much potential I and other FGLI students had that goes unnoticed. As a STEM major, I am hoping to learn more about Prague's history and culture to incorporate into my future pursuits. I can't wait to see what Czechia has in store for me!

Through my blog, I hope to set an example of what is possible for FGLI students by defying the expectations of others and reaching the expectations I set for myself.
