Hey! I’m Cahleb Derry, a Harvard alum who studied History & Literature. I spent my junior spring semester in Rome, Italy with Temple University. I had never studied Italian, and had only been to Europe once before. Thus, I couldn't wait to explore all that Rome had to offer. As a low-income student, I appreciated being afforded the opportunities to travel to places that I only would have dreamed of as a child. The prospect of meeting people from a new place and creating memories in a foreign environment was so exciting to me. I couldn't wait to share my experience abroad and show everyone that ANYONE can have this type of meaningful opportunity!
