Adam had always had an interest in Japanese aesthetics and culture, and as a film and media student here at Temple he was intrigued to see firsthand their approach to my prospective field. He went to Tokyo with a completely open mind and left filled with new perspectives, ideas and friendships, many of which he said he could have never predicted. Ultimately one of the best aspects of his experience was to get far outside of his cultural and academic 'comfort zone,' yet also see how a place so different can at times feel so similar to what he knew. The semester in Japan gave him a truly unique perspective into the society and country that would have been hard to gain from a vacation there, and caused him to fall in love with the land and cities. Interning with Video Solutions also gave him a direct experience and knowledge of how a foreign company can work within Japan.
