An introduction to the fundamental vocabulary and techniques of darkroom photography. Skills of perception, visual competence, and black and white film-based photographic practice will be emphasized with an introduction to digital and darkroom hybrid techniques. Projects will address technical development as well as the development of personal vision through the photographic medium.
