    This course is an introduction to Artists' Books. Students will learn to make a range of book forms, while exploring the book and self-publishing as a mode of creative self-expression. Through learning the centuries long history of the artists' book alongside uses of publications in contemporary practices, students will contextualize their own research and creative projects. Technical demonstrations will include book binding, letterpress, and risograph while experimenting with book forms and collaborative publications. NOTE: Prior to Fall 2026, this course was titled "Book Structures."
