Continued development of conversation and writing skills. Special attention is given to advanced areas of Spanish grammar appropriate for oral argumentation and expository writing and also to distinctions between formal and informal usage.
- Special Notes:
This course cannot be taken simultaneously with Spanish 3003. Students who wish to enroll in Spanish 3401 or 3402 in Spain must enroll in 3001 concurrently if they have not already completed 3001. In the spring, this course is available to students on the intermediate and advanced tracks.
- Pre-requisites:
Minimum grade of C- in SPAN 2096 or SPAN 2098. In the fall or spring, students who have not yet completed 2096 may take 3001 in Spain if they enroll in 2096 concurrently. In the summer, Spanish 2096 is not offered on this program; students who have already completed Spanish 2001, but have not completed Spanish 2096 must complete Spanish 2096 prior to departure for the summer program in Spain.
